Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal Bridge Replacement.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the bridge erected by the Irish Land Commission over the Eaney river to facilitate farmers in the townlands of Bonnyglen, Drumnacacullen and Casheloogary, County Donegal, attending divine service, was washed away by the recent floods; and, if so, if he will take immediate steps to have this bridge replaced.

This footbridge was erected by the Congested Districts Board and the local landowners undertook responsibility for its maintenance. The Land Commission have no liability in the matter.
