Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finances of Sea Fishery Boards.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the amount of profit or loss incurred by the Irish Sea Fisheries Association during the last 12 months of its existence and furnish similar details in respect of the first year's operations by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara.

The trading and profit and loss account of the Irish Sea Fisheries Association, Limited, for the year ended 31st December, 1951, shows a loss of £232 4s. 7d. The prescribed accounts of An Bord Iascaigh Mhara for the period 24th April, 1952 to 31st March, 1953, will be presented to the House at an early date.
