Vol. 143 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Creamery Butter Supplies.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if, in view of the published announcement in the newspapers to the effect that butter will have to be imported, he will take steps to ensure that Dublin and Bray consumers will be supplied with their fair proportionof the Irish creamery butter which is available for distribution in the country.

Arrangements for the distribution of imported butter this winter have not yet been formulated and I cannot, therefore, at this stage indicate what pattern the distribution may take.

Mr. A. Byrne

The Minister will consider the claims of Dublin?

Mr. Walsh

The Minister considers every claim.

Mr. A. Byrne
