The total amount is £6,005—all provided in sub-head A. Of this amount £4,320 represents the cost of equipment and spare parts and the balance the cost of keeping the station in working order. It is anticipated that savings to the extent of approximately £2,000 will be made this year.
Has the Minister considered any use to which the shortwave station could be put?
