asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether it is proposed to install traffic lights at the very dangerous junction of Fitzwilliam Street, Baggot Street and Merrion Square; and, if so, when.

The provision of traffic lights in Dublin City is a matter for consideration by the Dublin Corporation in conjunction with the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána. I have received no proposals for theprovision of traffic lights at the junction of Baggot Street with either Fitzwilliam Street or Merrion Street.
