Vol. 143 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Áras Mhic Dhiarmada.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is in a position to state (a) the rent paid by C.I.E. for the accommodation leased to them by the Department of Social Welfare in Áras Mhic Dhiarmada; (b) the income received by C.I.E. from each of the traders in occupation of the shops at the bus terminal, and (c) the amount of profit or income expected from both the bar and the restaurant.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether it is intended to invite outside firms to operate the bar and restaurant at the bus terminal in Áras Mhic Dhiarmada, Dublin.

I propose with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to take Questions Nos. 14 and 15 together.

This information is not available in my Department. The questions refer to matters of day-to-day administration; and, in any event, I do not consider it desirable to ask the board to furnish information of a kind which is not normally disclosed in respect of other commercial undertakings.
