Vol. 143 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of Turbary Plots (County Donegal).

Mr. Brennan

asked the Minister for Lands if, with reference to his reply to Question No. 33 of 3rd December, 1952, regarding the allocation of turbary plots in the townland of Corlea on the Connolly estate, Ballyshannon, he will now state (a) what steps were taken to allocate the turbary in question and (b) if this turbary will be allocated before the 1954 cutting season commences.

The preparation of a scheme for the distribution of turbary in the townland of Derrykillew (locally known as Corlea) on the estate of Connolly, Record No. A.688, County Donegal, is under consideration but, owing to certain procedural difficulties, it is not possible to state whether or when a scheme will be operated.
