Vol. 143 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Road Grants.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the Tralee Urban District Council has now to maintain some miles of roads taken over from the Kerry County Council since the Tralee urban area was extended; and, if so, if he will state whether it is proposed to make grants available to the urban authorities to steamroll and maintain such roads.

I would refer to my reply on 18th February last to the Deputy's question on the same subject.

Urban authorities may undertake road improvement works out of the annual grant allocations made available to them from the Employments and Emergency Schemes Vote.
