Vol. 143 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Flooding.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will now state if the proposals submitted to his Department by the Tralee Urban DistrictCouncil for the relief of flooding at Rock Street, Tralee, have been considered; and, if so, whether it is proposed to make a grant available to enable the works to be carried out under the Local Authorities (Works) Act.

I would refer to my reply on 19th November, 1952, to a question by the Deputy on the same subject. I am not aware whether the necessary investigation and planning have been carried out locally.
