Vol. 144 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dún Laoghaire Harbour Development.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is now in a position to say when it is proposed to proceed with the plans for the development of Dún Laoghaire harbour; and if it is expected that additional port facilities will be provided there.

This matter is still under consideration and I am not yet in a position to say when a decision is likely to be reached.

Could the Parliamentary Secretary say how far the consideration has proceeded?

It is under active consideration. I would suggest to the Deputy, if I may, that any further questions relating to this matter might be more appropriately addressed to the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

Is it not a fact that plans were approved as far back as 1938?
