Vol. 145 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unestablished National Health Insurance Agents.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if, in view of the increased cost of living, he will take immediate steps to increase correspondingly the salaries of all unestablished National Health Insurance agents.

Unestablished local agents have, in fact, already been granted increases in their remuneration, in accordance with Civil Service Arbitration Board Awards, to meet the increased cost of living. These increases were granted with effect from the 15th January, 1951, and 1st April, 1953.
