Vol. 145 No. 2

Order of Business.

Business will be taken in the following order as set out on the Order Paper: No. 7 and then No. 5.

Can the Tánaiste say whether or not it is intended to sit to-morrow and whether or not it is intended to sit next week? If it is intended to sit next week, can the Tánaiste give the House an idea of the business to be dealt with?

It is not proposed to sit to-morrow. We shall sit next week. I hope the Defence Bill will be completed by then. We will have the Housing Bill, the Committee Stage of the Electricity (Supply) Amendment Bill, perhaps any remaining stages of the Superannuation Bill and the Confirmation of Orders Bill.

Is it intended to sit on Friday of next week?

I think we will be able to complete that business on the two days next week.
