Vol. 145 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Post Office Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the increased housing development in the area, he will now establish a subpost office in Ballinteer as it is very inconvenient, especially for elderly people, to have to travel to Dundrum.

The question of providing a sub-office at a central site will be considered when building development in the Ballinteer area is more advanced.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state when it is proposed to provide suitable accommodation for the postal services in Dundrum.

A new district delivery office will be provided at Landscape Road at an early date. This office will cater for the delivery and collection services over a wide area including Dundrum and will relieve Dundrum sub-office of mail work.
