I am informed by the E.S.B. that the Dungourney area, which includes Ballintontas and Cloyne, has been considered on a number of occasions for development under the rural electrification scheme but has not, so far, been selected. The area will again be considered by the board in the near future in conjunction with other areas still awaiting selection in the board's Cork No. 2 district, but I am not in a position to state when development is likely to take place.
