asked the Minister for Local Government if it is proposed to construct a small landing slip at Curransport, West Donegal, in order to facilitate the islanders and the local fishing fleet.

The question of the improvement of landing facilities at Curransport and Magheraroarty is at present being examined by the inter-departmental committee set up in connection with Oifig na Gaeltachta agus na gCeantar gCúng. At the moment I am unable to give any indication as to what the recommendation in respect of either place is likely to be, but I promise the Deputy that I will have the matter expedited as much as possible.
