Vol. 146 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cork Works Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state how much it is proposed to spend during the current year in the Kilcaskin electoral division, Bantry, County Cork, on schemes under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949.

It is hoped to notify county councils in the near future of the grants which will be available to them for the execution of works under the Local Authorities (Works) Act in the current financial year. It will be a matter for the Cork County Council to determine the works, including their location, to be submitted for approval to absorb the grant which may be made available to them.
