I desire to express regret for the incident for which I was responsible on last Thursday, July 8th, in seeking to enter the House when the doors were locked for the taking of a division, and I wish to take this opportunity of tendering to the House and to you, Sir, an apology for my action on that occasion. I trust this apology will be acceptable to the House.

In view of the Deputy's apology and as I have already admonished the Deputy, perhaps the House will be prepared to overlook the incident.
