A contract for the erection of the extension to the Presentation Convent National School, Waterford City, has been placed and I am informed by the Commissioners of Public Works that the work has now been commenced.
asked the Minister for Education if he will state the present position regarding the proposed new Christian Brothers' boys' school for the Kilcohan and Bally-truckle area in Waterford City.
The question as to what educational facilities will require to be provided in order to cater for senior boys in the Kilcohan-Bally-truckle area, Waterford City, when the full housing programme for this area has been completed is being examined in my Department as a matter of urgency.
