Vol. 147 No. 5

Ceisteann—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Telephone Facilities.

Mr. Byrne

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that there are no public telephone kiosk facilities on either the departure or arrival platforms on the mail boat pier at Dún Laoghaire, the nearest kiosk being situated beside the Dún Laoghaire Town Hall; and, if so, if he will make arrangements forthwith to have five or six kiosks erected on each platform.

Arrangements are already being made to provide two public telephones on the mail boat pier at Dún Laoghaire. If the use made of them indicates that more are warranted, they will be provided.
