Vol. 147 No. 5

Ceisteann—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tory Island Boat Slip.

asked the Minister for Finance whether, in view of the poor landing facilities and the lack of safe anchorage on Tory Island, County Donegal, he will favourably consider the provision of a boat slip and cable haulage near the pier to ensure the safety of the larger fishing boats.

As I informed the Deputy in reply to a previous question on the same subject, a decision as to the improvement works which might be carried out must await consideration and examination of the engineering report. That report will, it is hoped, be available within a month.
