Vol. 147 No. 5

Written Answers. - Revenue from Motor Taxation.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the revenue derived from motor taxation in each of the financial years from 1944-45 to 1953-54, inclusive.

I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate the reply, which includes a tabular statement, with the Official Report. Following is the reply: I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to him on the 19th April, 1950, in relation to the compilation of these figures generally and for details of the years 1944-45 to 1949-50 inclusive. The corresponding figures for the years 1950-51 to 1953-54 inclusive are as follows:—
