The Land Commission put the drainage system of these bogs into first-class order when they were allotted and it is the practice for the tenants to apply to the Special Employment Schemes Office when further drainage and maintenance which would be beyond the capacity of the tenants themselves are required.
The Land Commission do not propose to carry out further drainage works on the bogs mentioned in the question.
