Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry—Government Employees.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the wages of road workers employed by the Kerry County Council are to be increased by 10/- a week, with effect from 1st April, 1954, and, if so, if he will state whether it is proposed to grant a similar increase to workers employed by the Land Commission and by his Department in County Kerry.

The increase in wages referred to by the Deputy has been granted to labourers employed by the Land Commission and Forestry Division in County Kerry with effect from 1st April, 1954. The necessary instructions in the matter have already been issued.
