asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether he has received certain development proposals, suitable for financing by grants from the National Development Fund, from the Galway Borough Council, and, if so, when a decision in the matter will be issued.

Proposals for schemes to be financed from the National Development Fund have been submitted to my Department by the Galway county manager on behalf of the Galway Corporation.
In regard to the latter part of the question, I would refer the Deputy to a reply given by the Minister for Finance to a parliamentary question by Deputy Lemass on the 27th October last.
