Vol. 148 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the present position in regard to the Land Commission proceedings to acquire the Molloy estate, Farney Castle, Thurles, for division among local uneconomic holders.

Proceedings are well advanced for the acquisition of 178 acres of Mr. Molloy's lands at Garrynamona, Farneybridgehill and Crossoge, but the question of price has yet to be determined. The proceedings in respect of Mr. Molloy's other lands at Farneybridge and Cormackstown were terminated last December when owner's objection to acquisition was allowed.
