Vol. 148 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pension Scheme for Limerick Hospitals.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware that nurses in the Limerick County Infirmary and Barrington's Hospital, Limerick, have not got a superannuation or pension scheme, and, if so, if he will take steps to introduce such a scheme there.

I have no functions in relation to the nursing staffs employed in Barrington's Hospital or the Limerick County Infirmary. It is open to the authorities of these hospitals to formulate a superannuation scheme for their staffs if they so desire.
