Vol. 148 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erection of Telephone Kiosks.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a public telephone kiosk erected in, or adjacent to, the Slieve Mish housing estate, Kinsale Road, Cork.

The provision of a telephone kiosk in or adjacent to the Slieve Mish housing estate would not be warranted by the use likely to be made of it. A telephone kiosk will, however, be opened for service shortly at Ballyphehane, less than half a mile from the estate.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in respect of Limerick City, (i) the location of the existing public telephone kiosks, and (ii) the proposed location of the new kiosks, and when they will be erected.

The information sought by the Deputy is in the form of a statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the official report.
