Vol. 149 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dundalk Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that there is an acute shortage of water in Dundalk, and, if so, if he will give an assurance that any plans for the improvement of the supply will be examined and sanctioned with the least possible delay in view of the urgency of the matter.

I am aware of the need for augmenting the Dundalk water supply. Any proposals submitted by the sanitary authority will be dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
