Vol. 149 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Importation of Aureomycin.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether, in view of the fact that our aureomycin requirements are imported mainly from the United States of America, and that it is possible to import this drug much more cheaply through Great Britain, he will investigate the possibility of reorganising the channels of importation, and thus afford sick persons some reduction in cost.

There are no restrictions on the import of the goods referred to and persons desiring to import them are free to purchase in the cheapest market.
