Vol. 149 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity Charges.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether, in view of the widespread irritation caused by the E.S.B.'s system of making a fixed charge in domestic accounts, he will make representations to the board to revert to the old system, or institute a new method of charge.

Responsibility for fixing charges for electricity rests, under statute, on the E.S.B. and I have no function in the matter.
