Vol. 149 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers—Army Training.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will consider granting two weeks' pay, in respect of their annual period of Army training, to members of the Reserve, who are employed by the Forestry Division of his Department.

The grant of special leave with pay for attendance at Army training courses to members of the Reserve employed by the Forestry Division is governed by regulations of general application in all State services. Normally six days' leave with pay, plus additional days for travelling, when necessary, are allowed.
