asked the Minister for Lands what action the Land Commission propose taking towards the resumption of the Coyne estate at Mountrath, Kilbeggan, for the relief of local congests, whose average valuation is £9.

In view of the fact that this estate is being offered for sale by auction to-morrow, I would like to make it quite clear that the Land Commission have no proceedings for its acquisition.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the O'Sullivan estate, Greenhills, Kilmastulla, County Tipperary, for division among small-holders and landless men in the area, and, if so, with what result.

The Land Commission are in communication with the owner of this estate and the matter is confidential.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) whether the Land Commission recently inspected the lands of Castlebellingham estate, County Louth, and (b) when this estate will be divided.

The Land Commission has called for a full report on these lands but no decision has yet been made as to whether any steps will be taken towards acquiring them.
