Conditions on which candidates are recruited to any particular form of occupation or employment must be determined in relation to the particular needs and circumstances of that occupation or employment.
In the case of candidate rural science teachers, I am satisfied that the present procedure, which includes a personal interview, is that best calculated to select the most suitable candidates and therefore I do not propose to alter the present arrangement.
