Vol. 150 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cork Fishing Industry.

asked the Minister for Agriculture what grants, apart from those made in respect of Schull, will be made available for the development of the fishing industry in West Cork.

It is presumed that the Deputy refers to the provision of fish handling and processing establishments at fishing centres. The only centre on the West Cork coast where such work will be undertaken in the current financial year is Schull. The need for such facilities at other places on the West Cork coast will be considered together with the needs of other sectors of the coast in due course.

When is that consideration to take place?

In due course.

Would you define "in due course", please?
