Vol. 150 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rush Hours Bus Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will request C.I.E. to consider providing large seatless buses at rush hours in Dublin City for the convenience of business people, who are obliged to queue for transport because of the limited number of buses available at such times.

This matter is one for consideration in the first instance by the Board of C.I.E. I understand that C.I.E. have had the subject under consideration for some time and are observing experiments in other countries, from which the results so far have not been very encouraging.
