Vol. 150 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork-Courtmacsherry Excursion Trains.

andM.P. Murphy asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will ascertain from C.I.E. if it is proposed to operate passenger excursion trains between Cork and Court-macsherry during the summer season, and, if so, when details will be published.

The question of the operation of passenger excursion trains between Cork and Courtmacsherry is one for C.I.E. Accordingly, any representations the Deputies may have to make in the matter should be made direct to C.I.E.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that it is not quite so easy to get information from C.I.E. as his reply would seem to indicate and that, further, an inquiry which was sent by us some four weeks ago to C.I.E. has failed to elicit the information?

The Minister has no responsibility for C.I.E. in that case.
