Vol. 151 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unqualified Practitioners.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that a number of people, who are not qualified opticians, have been holding eye clinics in various towns throughout the country, and, if so, if he will introduce legislation to protect the public from such unqualified practitioners.

Complaints of this nature have been brought to my notice. The Government is considering the introduction of appropriate legislation.
