Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Driving Licence Suspensions.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of disqualifications for holding driving licences, imposed by the courts for the offence of drunken driving, which were remitted by the Minister in the 12 months ended (a) 3rd June, 1954, and (b) 3rd June, 1955.

The number of disqualifications for drunken driving which were remitted by the Minister for Justice in the 12 months ended 3rd June, 1954, was 65.

There were no such disqualifications remitted in the 12 months ended 3rd June, 1955.
