However, the following figures showing (1) the total number of pensions granted under the Military Service Pensions Acts, 1924 and 1934, as at the 31st January, 1956, and (2) the number of 1916 medals and service (1917-1921) medals (with bar) granted to persons who did not make application under the Military Service Pensions Acts but who satisfied the Referee that had they done so they would have succeeded, may be of help— #
