Vol. 154 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Skeoge River Drainage.

asked the Minister for Finance what decision has been taken in regard to the proposed drainage of the Skeoge River at Burnfoot, County Donegal.

A scheme for the drainage of the Skeoge River, County Donegal, under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, is not at present contemplated and owing to existing commitments it is not possible to say when that river can be dealt with under the Act.

Would the Parliamentary Secretary say what decision was taken in regard to proposals from the County Derry end? In reply to a previous question the Parliamentary Secretary said he had received representations from Derry. Would he say now what action was taken in regard to these representations?

I shall check up on it and let the Deputy know at a later date.
