It will be appreciated that there is necessarily a time-lag between the approval of a grant by An Foras Tionscal and the actual payment of the grant since payments are normally made by stages related to the expenditure on the projects. An Foras Tionscal have to date approved grants amounting to £1,098,148 in respect of 43 projects and payments made in respect of these grants amount to £258,148.
