Vol. 156 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Turf Supplies for Screebe Power Station.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (a) the tonnage of turf offered by each individual to the power station at Screebe in the year ended 31st March, 1956, and (b) whether any offers of turf have been received for the year ending 31st March, 1957, and, if so, the amount of each offer.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the price per ton offered for turf supplied to the Screebe power station in the year ended 31st March, 1956, and the price to be offered in the current financial year.

I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 2 and 3 together.

The information sought by the Deputy relates to the day to day administration of the E.S.B. and is, therefore, a matter on which inquiry should be made directly of the E.S.B. by the Deputy.
