asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in respect of the four quarters of 1953, 1954 and 1955, and the first quarter of 1956 or the latest period available (i) the aggregate deposits in and withdrawals from the Post Office and Trustee Savings Banks, (ii) the amount of subscriptions and repayments of savings certificates, and (iii) the total net amount of savings realised under the above heads.
