Vol. 156 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Longford Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the amount of money expended on sewerage and other development work in connection with the erection of the new county hospital, Longford.

The actual payments which have been made to date by the Longford County Council in connection with the laying of a sewer and watermain for the proposed new county hospital amount to £4,655. The estimated total cost of carrying out the work, which is now almost completed, is £7,700 approximately. This work has been carried out under a separate contract in advance of the main building contract, which will provide for any other necessary site development.
