I regret that the estimates for saving and capital formation for 1955 are not yet complete, but it is hoped shortly to have available provisional figures for some of the items as set out in Table A5 of the Statistical Survey for 1954.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the analysis of imports in 1955 according to main uses. This information has already been published in the Trade Statistics of Ireland, Year 1955 and December 1955.

May I ask the Parliamentary Secretary whether the figures for savings will be available during the course of the Budget debate or later?
