Vol. 157 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal Offers of Forestry Land.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has considered an offer of lands at Kingarrow, Fintown, County Donegal for forestry purposes, and, if so, with what result.

The Forestry Division have investigated three offers of land in the Kingarrow area during the past few years, but in all cases it was found that the land offered was unsuitable for planting.

Agreement has been reached for the purchase of an area of 131 acres in the townland of Fintown and the sale is on the point of being closed.
