Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Extent and Cost of Civil Service.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each of the financial years 1951-52 to 1955-1956 (a) the number of civil servants employed, and (b) the cost of the Civil Service.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.
