Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Applications for Medical Service Cards.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of each of the periods August, 1954, to mid-May, 1955, and mid-May, 1955, to mid-May, 1956, the number of applications received for general medical service cards in the City of Dublin indicating the number of such applications (a) approved, (b) rejected, and (c) still to be examined.

As the information requested consists of figures, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

Separate figures are not available in respect of the Dublin City area only.

The following is the information in respect of the Dublin Public Assistance District which consists of the Dublin City area and some districts adjoining it.
