Vol. 157 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Road Patrols.

asked the Minister for Justice whether, in view of the very heavy density of motor traffic, he will request the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána to arrange for motorcycle patrols on the Cork-Crosshaven road during the summer months.

This road and all main roads leading from Cork City are at present being patrolled by Garda car. A Garda motor-cyclist is being allocated to Cork City and his duties will include regular patrols of the Cork-Crosshaven road during the summer months.
