Vol. 158 No. 5

Written Answer. - Entry to Louth Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that Mr. Thomas Clarke, Rootate, Corcreagh, Dundalk, who was allocated a portion of the Byrne estate as an addition to his own holding, has to make a detour in order to gain entrance to his additional lands because the gate to the entrance thereof is locked, in spite of the assurance given by the Land Commission that he would have a right-of-way; and what steps it is proposed to take to remedy the position.

I am aware that difficulties have arisen about this right-of-way, and I have asked the Land Commission to investigate the matter as soon as possible.
